We did! Our wedding weekend was at Pilgrim Pines Camp in California. Our celebration in Michigan will gather local friends and family for a more informal celebration closer to where we live now. This is not technically a wedding or a reception, but it will have some elements of both.

Absolutely! We love the young people in our lives, and want them to be able to celebrate as well.

Wear what makes you feel most comfortable and happy! You can't be over or underdressed :) Probably not stiletto heels just based off of the ground (outside is grassy)

As much as possible everything will be outdoors! We may have the 1pm ceremony indoors, but we will try to open windows and create some good airflow, and have air filters running. Weather permitting, food, lawn games, and photos will all be outside.

The weather in Ann Arbor in September is mildly cool and breezy, with average highs of 76°F and lows of 55°F. However, its Michigan and global weirding of weather is real - there could be thunderstorms or a heatwave. Bring layers!

Yes! Church of the Good Shepherd has an elevator for indoor access between floors, an accessible single-stall bathroom, gently sloped sidewalks outside, and ample parking. Please let us know if you have accessibility needs and we will do our best to accommodate!
