Our Wedding

We started talking online in May 2022 and went on our first date to the Putnam museum on July 17th, 2022. That first date led to another and another, though we didn’t officially become a couple until we went on a trip to see Katie’s favorite band, Lacuna Coil, in concert on September 23rd, 2022 in Joliet. Fast forward to March 1st, 2024, we bought our first house together. Then, on January 15th, 2025, we went to the broadway musical, Hadestown in Davenport, IA. After the show, as we walked through the halls of the Adler Theater and past a wedding display, Tony stopped, then dropped to one knee and proposed, and, of course, she said “Yes!” And now we are on our way to be officially Mr. & Mrs. Montague on October 17th, 2026!

For those traveling and are looking to stay Friday October 16 & Saturday October 17, there are 5 special rooms available for 2 night stays. Please let us know if you are needing 2 nights so we can make sure with the hotel. Also there is 18 regular rooms in the hotel block.
