Choctaw Lodge Retreat: Josh and I met and had our first date here at the river while he was in town for the summer working on his sturgeon research. It was his third summer coming to the river. I took a leap of faith to meet him out in the middle of the woods! He cooked dinner for us and we talked for 6 hours. The rest is history!

Josh met my parents over Memorial Day weekend and then I met his when they came to visit Josh at the Lodge. We went out on a pontoon boat, fished and did some grilling, of course! I also brought them to Hunts for his Dad's birthday!

My first trip to Aiken, SC. We spent 6 hours at a standstill on the interstate to get there, but it was well worth it to meet the rest of the Vine family for the 4th of July!

There were many trips to Gainesville during our long-distance relationship. On this trip, we caught a Gator game with my family and he met my college friends for the first time.

We celebrated Christmas Eve with my family (his first Harris party!) and then traveled to Aiken on December 26th to spend Christmas and the New Year with the Vines.

Between the trips to Gainesville, we snuck away to South Carolina to spend Easter with the Vines. We were happy to catch a nap with Bell!

Josh officially left Gainesville and moved to Panama City. The Green Bean made it!

For the end of summer, we headed to the Keys for mini lobster season. It was a perfect ending to our summer vacation.
