I met Kate for the first time in Biology class in 10th grade.
Shout out Dezere for introducing us! Kate and I were always on the same wavelength. We shared a few classes together that year and boy were we obnoxious. Haha! We loved goofing around. Kate would hold my hand after biology and then hand me off to my high school boyfriend. LOL. Our friendship was rekindled senior year. We ran cross country together and we shared a class at GA Highlands college. I’m so happy you texted me to switch into your math class, Kate. You are the true MVP! The summer of 2014 is when I realized that I had found my soul mate, life partner, and my wife. We made it official soon after I left for college. This was our first long distance year. From there I have had the most precious opportunity that a human could ask for. I grew up with my person, my Kate. I asked Kate to marry me when we graduated from KSU. From basement staying to high rise living, our love has only grown. 8 years of school down now and WE CAN FINALLY DO IT. The concerts, park days, traveling, kitchen dancing, hikes, restaurant sampling, day drinking, car jam sessions, and Saturday sunrises shall go on! They are forever and I am stoked.

My turn! Katie and I have always had a strong connection. We just clicked right from the beginning. Even when we were just friends who sat next to each other in class in high school, something stood out about Katie. I think there was something inside of me saying, "You don't know it now, but you're going to marry that girl." Turns out, that connection we had was true love. (Corny, I know. But aww!) Since then, we have grown up together instead of apart. We have witnessed each other's highest highs and lowest lows without budging on the commitment we've given to each other. We've worked so hard for where we are today, but this relationship was the easy part. These past eight years with Katie have flown by. She is the love of my life, and I am so lucky to finally be able to call her my wife!
