Our Wedding

Well it began with our mutual friend at the time (late spring 2014), Kylee. We had been trying to go for a blind double date, twice between our busy lifestyles; Beau farming with his family &amp; KT busy with Hunter &amp; nursing in Sioux Falls at McKennan. We had chatted several times, but never could get our double date to work out. So KT thought, 3rd time is it. If it’s not going to be anything other than a friendly chat and never meeting in person, then she wasn’t going to try any longer. So as KT &amp; Hunter typically liked to do, we went fishing. Conveniently our fishing trip took us to Paullina Lake to what is known as, Boys Scout Island. We let Beau know when and where we would be at and packed a cooler full of foods (we were warned he was a fussy eater) and let him know he was welcome to join us if it worked for him. There we set up camp. Started fishing, got a fire going, and chatting. Then a big red pickup pulled up. It was finally Beau to meet us in person for the first time. I don’t remember all of our conversations, but I do remember how we all enjoyed our fishing, campfire and time together until the weather led us to pack up and depart separate ways. Later, KT found out that Beau was so nervous to meet us for the first time, he had to have a couple beers with his Dad quick in the shop before he came to calm his nerves. And later some of his guy friends laugh about how when they asked him what he was doing that night, and he had replied fishing, but they wondered why they weren’t asked to go with. So they knew something was up. Conversations later led and more dates followed. Our first photo together 4th of July Celebration (above). Eventually KT &amp; Hunter moved to Paullina before Hunter would start school. Beau, Brett, &amp; Michelle helped them with the majority of the move from Sioux Center to Paullina. Conversations about life, love, goals, family, friends came about. Weeks turned to months and months into years. Meeting friends &amp; family turned into our life journey with lasting relationships. Many dates, farming, job changes, family events, school, church &amp; family activities went by, but one thing remained- our love and devotion to one another. Life may not always have been easy in the last 7 years, but we stood by each other, encouraged one another, inspired and lifted the other up to be a better person and couple than we were the day before! In 2020 we added a beautiful baby girl to our family of 3; Sydney Marie. In 2021 we took our family vacation to the Black Hills with Mikayla, Hunter, &amp; Sydney where Beau got down on one knee and proposed on the top of Custer Peak in South Dakota on a midday ranger ride. We always talked about marriage, even completed our Pre-marital classes (thanks to family &amp; friends who helped out with kids so we could attend) that year before, but God’s timing is always better than our own! That warm day at the end of June, God helped orchestrate one more step into our journey together as a couple &amp; family. We have been SO blessed, learned and have grown along the way to share our lives together. We now look forward to sharing our lives as husband &amp; wife in June surrounded by God, our family &amp; friends! We are ever so grateful &amp; thankful to the friends that brought us together, the family and friends who have supported us through the hills and valleys and most importantly, our God who is so ever faithful and true! Here’s to cherishing the memories &amp; lessons along the way &amp; creating new as soon to be Mr. &amp; Mrs. Lange, June 11, 2022!

Lindsey and KT have know each other since early highschool years. They have been through a whole lot of life together and have remained close friends through it all, even when living miles apart. Lindsey and her husband have been such an incredible support to the couple from day 1! She has blessed us with her love and support!

Sara was one of the very first friends KT made when she and Hunter moved to town. She has always been so genuine and made KT feel right at home here in Paullina. She has been such a wonderful inspiration, support, listening ear and lending hand. She has been with us on our journey from the beginning and continues to bless us with her kindness and friendship!

Sherri has been a long time family friend of the Lange family, but it was our boys that brought us together in friendship. Sherri has been a great support in our journey together as a couple and as a family. She has blessed us with her kindness, generosity, mentorship, and love. Not to mention we both love to craft, adventures with our children, our love for oils, farming family, and our faith! She has blessed us with her love and support!

KT and Rylee met early on in Beau & KT’s relationship. It was the men in our lives that we met, but the genuine conversation, respect, and common interests that drew us together as friends! Even when Rylee was away at college for a couple years of our friendship, she was still so supportive of Beau and I, always checked in, loved on Hunter, and allowed us to be apart of her and Ryan’s special day, the birth of kids and the story goes on! She is the friend that we may have busy lives, but checks in and can always catch up where we left off. We enjoy sharing kids, ranger rides, water, farming activities, meals, and crafting. She has blessed us with her love & support! 

Rylee Goosen

Mikayla met our family when she was 15 and began working and helping in the store for KT. Covid hit and KT home with a newborn, she became like a daughter to us. She has grown to become one in our family. She loves on our kids, works at the store, babysits, joins us with family events & travels and even got to witness our engagement. She has shown such love and support in the short couple years we have gotten the privilege to know her. We look forward to many more years to blessed by and be a blessing to Mikayla! She has endured a lot of life with us so far and we are entirely thankful and grateful!

Long time friend of Beau & later KT as well! He has always supported us in our relationship, family life, farming, and our faith! We are blessed by Ryan’s love and support since day  1 of our relationship and his genuine kindness, respect and love he has show to us!
