Our Wedding

Ben was working at punchbowl social, a Denver bar, when this new girl with a very… interesting choice in music was transferred out from Chicago. He noticed she too would abandon and neglect her tables when the Cubs were on a TV at the bar. Katie was that girl, she realized she had found a Cub fan in Denver. Being as shy as Katie is, she decided to get Ben’s number from the scheduling app that punchbowl used and reach out because Ben wasn't taking any hints.&nbsp; She texted Ben that evening and claimed to be Barry, the owner of the local hangout of punchbowl employees. She convinced Ben to come out and have a drink (on Barrry) and that was the best decision Ben ever made. Three years later Ben proposed on their Third Anniversary in front of Denver’s Mile High Tree. In between, they've been inseparable, sharing countless trips and memories, adopting and being trained by two large dogs, supporting each other while they both started new careers, and having plenty of laughs along the way.

1.&nbsp;The Wedding will begin at 5:00pm and will be, we hope, outside on the deck, weather permitting. 2.&nbsp;The reception will be at the same site:&nbsp;Brittany Hill, (9350 Grant Street, Thornton, CO 80229 Phone:&nbsp;303-451-5151) immediately after the ceremony.&nbsp; 3.&nbsp;We are planning a casual gathering for Friday night for all guests who have arrived by then and have reserved&nbsp;the Patio at the Doubletree Hotel beginning about 8:00 pm.&nbsp;Kids are welcome but alcohol will be served.&nbsp;Everyone is welcome!&nbsp;This will extend the opportunity to meet and chat for all! 4.&nbsp;We also plan a casual gathering for Saturday night at the same place for those who seek a quieter visit, without the music, after dinner and for those who want to continue the party when the Reception ends.​ 5.&nbsp;With any room booked under our wedding codes, free breakfast is included with the rate each morning 6.&nbsp;We will have lovely shuttles taking everyone from the Hotels to the Wedding Venue and back, on a continuous loop.&nbsp;Please use these!&nbsp;We don’t want to worry about any of our guests drinking and driving! 7.&nbsp;Within walking distance of the chosen Hotels are numerous places to shop or grab a bite to eat!&nbsp;These include:​a.
