Ellie is the groom’s younger sister and one of the kindest, calmest souls you’ll ever meet. Her caring nature helped create the warmest welcome as Katie made the big move to North Carolina and from the very beginning, she’s felt like family she's known forever.

Anelise, the groom’s other younger sister, is full of bubbly energy and sweetness. She’s thoughtful in every way and has a lighthearted spirit that makes every moment brighter. Like her sister, she’s one of those people who instantly made Katie feel like she's known her for her entire life.

David and Josh met at Appalachian State when David roomed with friends of Josh’s; what started as a quick partnership with Josh filming Club Lacrosse games for David’s team, grew into a deep, lasting friendship. Josh made countless trips to Florida to visit David and his family, and their daughters are now lifelong pen pals and built in best friends!

Chad and Josh first met in middle school, but their friendship did not truly start until college when Chad moved in with David. What began as a recruiting pitch for an intramural basketball team turned into countless App St football games / tailgates, gaming sessions, and many memorable times together in Charlotte, where Chad lives.

Andrew and Josh roomed together at App State, sharing late-night Mario Kart sessions, BBQuesday meals in the dining hall, and countless outdoor adventures. Their strongest bond is their shared love of Appalachian football games; as they still make the trip back to Boone for a game once each season.

Emmitt and Josh met as video interns with the Appalachian State football team and quickly became friends. They went from classmates to roommates, sharing a major, and starting their careers off in the ACC. Emmitt's dog Ellie Maye and Josh's dog Brewer have become good friends since graduation as well!

Chase and Josh first met in high school and became close friends at Appalachian State, where they shared a major and many classes. Now partners in crime as wedding videographers, they’ve collaborated on numerous projects together. Off the clock, Chase and Josh are fantasy football rivals who love attending sporting events together.

Issac and Josh met at Hope City and immediately hit it off. Josh can always count on Isaac for last-minute side quests, and Isaac relies on Josh the same. From long hikes to concerts and road trips, they’ve done it all together and are grateful to share this day standing by each other’s side.
