A true product of COVID, Dee and Katie met through a weekly zoom game night in April 2022. After gathering some liquid courage, Dee sent Katie a DM, which began "This might not go anywhere but...". A message led to weeks of zoom dates and late night facetime calls, which led to Katie and some of her friends planning a trip to Boston to meet Dee in person, and more importantly for Christina to see the state of New England (she never found it).

By the end of the summer, Katie and Dee had visited various places in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, their first international trip, Toronto.
