Will and Katie first met when they were five years old. Will’s family had just moved to Edmond, Oklahoma, and joined the same community group as Katie’s family. They ended up on the same co-ed soccer team, long before they knew they knew they would be getting married.

During their junior year of high school, they reconnected. Both needed a date to the Winter Formal, and Katie decided to ask Will. He quickly said yes, and the night was full of easy conversation and plenty of laughs.

On April 23, 2021, Will asked Katie to be his girlfriend. They spent a great senior year together before heading to different colleges, Katie to Baylor University and Will to Oklahoma State University. After two years and countless road trips Katie knew her heart belonged in Stillwater, and she transferred to OSU where the two have spent their final years of college together.

On July 10, 2025, Will proposed in Grayton, Florida, a place full of family memories for him and shared visits for them both.

They are grateful and excited to celebrate soon with the friends and family who have been part of their story and cannot wait for all that’s ahead.
