Chatfield State Park is a large reservoir outside of Littleton that offers many activities including fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, biking and camping.
Red Rocks Park And Amphitheater
Red Rocks is an open air amphitheater built into the rocks. The amphitheater hosts concerts and the park offers beautiful hiking trails.
Roxborough State Park
Roxborough State Park offers numerous hiking trails and spots for wildlife viewing. Please note there is a vehicle entrance fee and no dogs are allowed in the park.
Waterton Canyon Trail
The Watertown Canyon Trail is a dirt road trail along the South Platte River. The trail offers hiking, biking and fishing. The area is known for it’s bighorn sheep population. Dogs are not allowed.
Bear Creek State Park
Bear Creek State Park is a short drive from the Littleton area. The park offers many activities like boating, fishing, kayaking, biking, hiking, horseback riding and camping. There is a vehicle entrance fee. Pets are allowed in the park.

Breckenridge Brewery was founded in Breckenridge in 1990. It has since been relocated to Littleton and has become one of the most population craft beers in the nation. It is not only a brewery, but a full service restaurant. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. There’s an outdoor area for lawn games, a fire pit, beer garden and they have an outdoor summer concert series.
The Lakehouse Kitchen & Tavern is a bar and grill style restaurant offering indoor and outdoor seating on the patio. The restaurant has gorgeous views as it’s located off of Johnson Lake.
