2018-2019 Freshman Year - Conner and Katie meet each other for the first time. In the Spring they get placed on the Ohio State Young Life College team together and become very quick friends

2019 -2020 Sophomore Year - They have the same major and Conner convinces Katie to take all of the same classes as him. Between that and Younglife College commitments, they end up seeing each other every single day.

This was at Younglife College Spring Break the day the stay-at-home order was announced. Katie had to go back home to Cincinnati while Conner stayed on campus at Ohio State. The question they both pondered as the world shut down was "When's the next time we'll see each other?!"

Other than friendly facetimes and phone calls, they hadn't seen each other or hung out for 3 months. With a 30-minute heads up, Conner tells Katie that "his housemates and him" are driving down to Cincinnati out of boredom and picking her up. Katie gets in the car to find no housemates and only Conner. He confesses he's had feelings since the fall and had driven all the way down just to ask her on a date. Katie responds with mild panic, major disbelief, and the words "Are you pranking me?" She tells him she had also felt the same way all year. He made the trek back and forth that June to take her on summer dates before he asked her to be his girlfriend.

After 2+ years of dating, being neighbors, doing each other's homework and going to many buckeye games, they graduate from Ohio State together!

To top off their 3rd year of dating and a year of Springboro/Columbus long distance, Conner drops on a knee in Ault Park!!
