Yay! You're coming to our wedding! Now it's time to figure out how you'll get there. Here's some basic info.
Flying in: The closest airport is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. From there, you'll need to rent a car and hop on a ferry.
Driving there: Forks is a little under a 4 hour drive from Seattle. Follow Google Maps to find your way. You'll likely need to take a ferry, but don't worry, you can find the ferry schedule here.
Staying there: Now that you've made it over, might as well stay a while! Check out our accommodation recommendations below.
Historic Lake Crescent Lodge on the Olympic Peninsula in northwest Washington was built in 1915 and is an ideal base camp for enjoying Olympic National Park, while experiencing the charm of a turn-of-the-century resort. It’s right off the road, about an hour from Forks, and is one of the most popular spots in the area. (We found that you can also get really cool mugs in their lobby gift shop – score!)
Vrbo.com will help you find cabins and houses to stay in the area, including Forks, Port Angeles, and Sequim. If you know any folks attending the wedding, try booking a rental with them and save some cash!
Lake Quinault Lodge is a grand and rustic lodge built in 1926 that welcomes guests with warmth, hospitality, and a sincere feeling of home-away-from-home comfort. It's a pretty sweet place to stay and a one-of-a-kind experience.
The easiest accommodation will be to grab a hotel room right in Forks. There are several options for a good price and several bed & breakfasts. The Hoh Valley Cabins especially caught our eye – very cute!
Feeling adventurous? Try camping in the national park. Just be sure to reserve early; Olympic is a popular place to stake a tent.
If you’re willing to make a longer drive after the wedding, there are tons of great hotels in the northeast side of the park. We liked the Quality Inn & Suites at Olympic National Park in Sequim. Free breakfast buffet!
