Just like all the great fairy tales our story began... Once upon a time, in a dingy Philadelphia bar, two exhausted nursing students celebrating the end of another grueling test found some time to engage in conversation. It didn't take long for the sparks of romance to begin flying. In Katies words, it was my delicious sense of humor and moving my hips like cyclone on the dance floor that piqued her interest. (I think it also helped that when I learned she liked to hike, I downloaded a hiking app to show my dedication... I of course don't enjoy hiking but I digress) I on the other hand, was particularly smitten when Katie quoted, in perfect imitation voice, the Orcs from Lord of the Rings. Things moved pretty fast after that and with each others support, through the highs and the lows, we became a couple, roommates, and nurses shortly after.

From there our adventures became even greater. Together we battled the horrors of a nightshift sleep schedule, drove across the country in search of more fruitful opportunities, and even spanned the oceans to foreign lands. All the while our bond grew even stronger. Now we prepare for the our greatest adventure yet.
