As many of you know, we met in Primary School. Don't worry it makes us sick too...

Years after not speaking much (even though Jacob was still madly in love with his childhood crush, yours truly. Ps, Katie wrote this) we started speaking again as friends after work and catching up. We would meet at the M11 services for coffee and food after long shifts. A lot of the time falling asleep on the sofas and leaving at 3am!!! If only we had the energy for this now...we like to be in bed by 10 like a couple of oldies.

A few months into this, Jacob finally asked me on a date. We went to Mini Gold in Stevenage where I ripped my jeans right on the bum cheek. It was a great way to break the ice! I was mortified...

Fast forward a couple of years and we bought our own little house together! 3 months later lockdown hit. If we'd been worried about spending all day every day together before, now was the real test. If anything, I think it brought us closer together. Shortly after lockdown began, we bought our fur baby Blue. You all know how obsessed we are with him.

Come August 2022, Jacob had planned a surprise holiday. We had a mini road trip around Europe and stopped off at my favourite place ever for a few days. Lake Como, Italy. We hired a speed boat and went to explore a beautiful monastery (somewhere Jacob had taken me before and I fell in love with). This is the place Jacob asked me to marry him.

Now here we are, stressed to our eyeballs planning a wedding :)
