Katie met Ray in November of 2023 shortly after she had moved back into her parents home and started working at Fed Ex. She wasn’t there long before she started coming home with stories about this guy almost overnight she started smiling and laughing again.


Before they met Ray and Katie had both recently been through some dark and difficult times, They were able to comfort and help each other get through the day. When Thanksgiving came that year and Katie heard that Ray had no plans and no where to go for Thanksgiving dinner she asked if Ray could join our family festivities. Shortly after that they made their relationship official as Girlfriend/ Boyfriend on November 25, 2023.


December 25, 2023 they celebrated Christmas and their 1 month anniversary together. It was easy to see that they had something special. I had a feeling very early on that this was the real thing. Its easy to see that Ray truly cares for Katie and her happiness. He loves making her smile and she makes him laugh he would say things like “You’re so weird, don’t ever change!”


On Katie’s 21st Birthday September 15, 2024 Ray proposed to Katie at the pond at her family’s home where they spend a lot of time enjoying nature walks and conversation.


We look forward to celebrating this couple and sharing our love, prayers and blessings for their marriage and their future as they make their vows to each other on November 1st 2025 at Our Lady of the Visitation Church Shippensburg PA. Hope to see you there!
