What started as a joke with coworkers ended up with a picture of a cute teacher and a phone number three days later. With “the ball in his court” Taylor texted Katie on May 16, 2019 to ask her out. Their first date was the following Saturday for dinner and drinks at Summit Grill in Waldo, near Katie’s house. A week later Katie and Taylor went out for a second date. They both felt that date two was better than the first and decided on date three the very next day. They have pretty much seen each other every day since…with the exception of a couple trips that they each had planned prior to meeting one another.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Two months in, Katie had a fleeting thought that maybe Taylor should join her on her already planned European vacation that summer. It was quickly mentioned one night over dinner and didn’t truly come to fruition until Taylor booked a flight to come travel with her the week before he arrived in Ireland in mid-July. They traveled through Ireland and Portugal together for ten days…a true test of the relationship. What most people would be nervous about, traveling together for 10 days only made their connection stronger.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Throughout the first 9 months of dating, Taylor and Katie went on nine different trips together. They had planned their second trip to Island Park, Idaho together for Taylor’s birthday weekend in February. Taylor’s brother and sisters joined them on the snowmobiling trip and to see Island Park in its true beauty of winter. It came as a COMPLETE surprise to Katie when Taylor planned and executed the most perfect proposal in a setting that couldn’t be beat. And to top it all off, he managed to capture the entire moment on video.
