Arriving the Friday night before? Check out PNC Park! The Pirates are playing the Washington Nationals at home starting at 6:40 pm. The ballpark was recently voted one of the most beautiful in America, and it's just a 15 minute walk from the Omni.
During our wedding reception, one of Phipps' amazing exhibits will be open to our guests, but if you would like to see the rest of the museum we recommend checking it out Saturday morning. Inside you'll find 15 acres including a 14-room glasshouse and 23 distinct gardens.
Have free time Saturday morning? Take a walk around Pittsburgh's Strip District. There's lots of food options including the original Primanti Bros., De Fer Coffee & Tea, Pamela's Diner, and more! There's lots of cute local shops is a great place to explore that isn't too far from downtown.
For a gorgeous view of the city (and all the bridges) head up to the Overlook. You can drive up, or take a ride on the Duquesne Incline to get to the top. This is where we got engaged!
