We matched on tinder! We texted for a couple days on snapchat and then stopped talking...

August 2020

Alex saw a picture of Katie on snapchat and decided to message her. Katie's dad had covid-19 at the time so we were unable to go on our first date for a whole month! But we could not stop texting each other 24/7.

October 2020

We had our first date at Tavern in the Square in Wrentham, MA. We were inseparable since that night and spent almost every day going forward together.

November 2020

Alex told Katie he loved her! Katie's first response was what took you so long? After all they both knew they loved each other long before this moment! Alex was waiting for Katie to say it first, but her Meme always told her to let the boy say I love you first.

April 2021

Alex moved in with Katie while he demoed the multifamily home he had bought earlier that year. Katie's nana was so excited to have him stay with them. She loved spending time with Alex, too!

Alex and Katie started to move some of their things over to Alex's newly renovated home on Forrest Ave and split their time between apartments. We shared this apartment with a couple friends, but Nana missed having us around everyday and we missed her, so we decided to stay at Nana's full time instead!

Our first vacation-- just the two of us! We went to Disney world, and it was Alex's first time.

July 2022

We celebrated our second anniversary in NYC. Katie's parents got us tickets to see Wicked on Broadway, and now Alex is a huge fan, just like Katie!

January 2023

Katie graduated from URI with a Bachelors in Animal Science and Technology. 

May 2023

We drove to NY to pickup our sweet Maisie Mae, our 11 week old rescue from Puerto Rico. 

December 2023

Our 3 year anniversary! We went back to Tavern in the Square, our first date spot.

January 2024

Katie's sister got married! Alex was one of Brysen's groomsmen and Katie was the MOH.

Our first cruise together, we went to Bermuda!

July 2024

This was a tough month for us. Katie's sweet Nana passed away, and she was the center of our world having lived with her since early 2021. We were honored to help care for her. We are so grateful she shared her home with us and allowed our love to grow there. Her passing led to us moving into our second home together in Alex's multifamily.

Alex earned his journeymen Plumber's license, he worked so hard for this!

WE ARE ENGAGED!! Alex proposed while we were snowmobiling in Colebrook, NH. It was just the 2 of us and it was perfect!

Kelsey is Katie's older sister. Katie and Kelsey share a special bond being each other's only sibling. Kelsey has always been one of Katie's biggest supporters in all of her endeavors.

Ally and Katie have been best friends since the second grade. Ally is more like family to the Macs! Katie could not imagine her wedding day without honoring their friendship and choosing Ally to be her MOH.

Allie is one of Katie's cousins on her dad's side of the family. Katie and Allie have been very close their entire lives as they were born only 6m apart!

Angie is one of Katie's cousins on her dad's side of the family. Angie has always been very close to Katie and she has always thought of her like a little sister.

Katie and Caroline have been friends since the 6th grade and used to refer to eachother as the superman to her batman when they were younger!

Katie and Grace have been friends since Freshman year of high school. Their friendship grew over many shared interests as kids. They also shared their sweet 16 party together!

Torie is Alex's big sister. Katie and Torie have grown a strong friendship over the last 5 years with many of their shared interests and hobbies. They are excited to officially be sisters so soon!

Les is Alex's best friend from back home. They met when Alex moved to Colebrook, NH when he was 10 years old.

Joe is one of Alex's friends and they enjoy salt water fishing together in their kayaks! He also taught us both how to catch squid which was so fun!

Brysen is married to Katie's sister Kelsey. Alex and Brysen have gotten very close over the last five years and enjoy going golfing together!

Norah is our niece and the daughter of Alex's sister Torie. Katie has also known Norah since she was only a year old. Katie and Alex share a close relationship with Norah and are extatic to honor our sweet niece on our special day!
