Dakota Hotel Edinburgh
We have reserved some rooms at the Dakota Hotel, South Queensferry (which is a 5 minute drive from Carlowrie) for anyone who wishes to stay overnight after the wedding. These rooms will be available to book at a discounted rate.
When booking, please say you are a part of the Muir Wedding, and the discounted rate will be applied.
Bus from Glasgow/Lanarkshire
For guests travelling from Glasgow/Lanarkshire, we have organised a bus departing from the Hilton Doubletree Hotel, Bellshill. This will be leaving at 1.30pm sharp to go to Carlowrie. Please arrive promptly.
This bus will be going via the Dakota, South Queensferry, and will arrive there around 2.30pm. If you are intending to stay at the Dakota, we would recommend that you drive to the Dakota before the wedding, and leave your car there. The bus will then go via the Dakota to pick you up before it goes to Carlowrie.
At the end of the night, the bus will come back to Carlowrie, and will travel back to the Doubletree (again, via the Dakota).
If you would like a seat on this bus to/from the Doubletree, or to/from the Dakota, please let us know on your RSVP.
Premier Inn Edinburgh (South Queensferry) hotel
There is also a Premier Inn nearby (around a 10 minute drive from Carlowrie), as another option for accommodation.
Driving
There is a car park available at Carlowie, should anyone wish to drive.
