Our Wedding

Over the years of waiting and many MANY spoken prayers, which at times felt they would not be answered with anything but at "Not yet" or a "No"...God definitely had a much better plan set in motion for both, Katie and Sandeep! What started on a Christian dating app for Katie and Sandeep, led to many phone/FaceTime conversations for hours at a time, and then to their first in-person meeting/date, which Sandeep embarked on, driving 12 hrs from MD to TN only 2 weeks after they started talking! Faith in Christ has been their foundation from the start in conversations, how they have been able to communicate about their past, life stories, and who God created each of them to be especially during all their phone calls from states away while dating long-distance. Sandeep's remote job position gave him the flexibility to travel to TN many times to continue to grow their relationship as they began to see the clarity that God was leading them both to continue taking steps towards each other. The experience of mutual commitment to continue to get to know each other was very different and refreshing for both of them in comparison to any previous dating situations and God continues to give them this deep sense of peace for each other. After many weekend dates, attending a wedding and a funeral together, meeting each other's family/friends, spending holidays together, and regularly attending both of their local churches together on the weekends has led them to the place of saying...the many years of waiting for each other was all worth it! We are so excited to celebrate our upcoming wedding with all of you so we can spend the rest of our lives together as husband and wife! God is SO faithful and His timing is perfect! Praise the Lord!
