Ellie is Katie's youngest sibling of her 6 siblings. She is always a bubbly ray of sunshine that never seems to run out of questions to ask. Ellie has a love of studying human anatomy and is pursuing a graduate degree in public health. Ellie and Katie have shared many venting sessions through the years and have a loving sibling relationship. Ellie and Katie have had fun growing up together and whether it be watching their favorite tv shows (even though they have very different taste) or taking a trip to the shed aquarium in Chicago they always enjoy their time together. Katie is fortunate to be Ellie's older sister and is excited to have her standing beside her at the altar.

Kelly is Katie’s sister-in-law but without the “in law.” Kelly has been a part of the family for decades and is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She will always be the one smiling and making a situation brighter (even if she doesn’t want to). Kelly is always laughing and it’s contagious. She has a love of animals and has taken in quite a few over the years. Not to mention she is a slot machine queen! Kelly and Jon (Katie’s brother) host all the family get togethers and you always feel right at home, no matter the family drama. Kelly has always made the best treats, snacks, and everything else, you’ll never go hungry at her house. Katie is so very lucky to have Kelly at her side at the altar.

Tansy and Katie met while working as nurses together in a clinic with a shared office space. They had lots of time to chat about their lives and Tansy soon encouraged Katie to pursue travel nursing like she was. Tansy and Katie ended up traveling to two of the same states while travel nursing and enjoyed adventures together along the way. As soon as you meet Tansy, you can feel her energetic presence and you feel like you already know her. She is such a welcoming person and she is always up for any adventure! Katie and Tansy bonded over their shared experiences traveling and have stayed friends states away. Tansy has been a friend though it all and Katie is lucky to have her stand by her side at the altar.

Alex and Katie met while working at a dog daycare . They became fast friends and with Katie's family living across the country, Alex and her family became Katie's family. Alex is quirky, loving, and caring person. She loves the people that she's close with and lets them know she cares. Alex even has gone on a few hikes with Katie (if you know Alex and her disdain for the outdoors, you know how much of a sacrifice that is) and always tries to do things for people around her to make them happy. Alex and Katie have stayed friends through so many of life's challenges and again through the distance (Katie sure does move around a lot). Whether Katie and Alex are petting a leaopard shark or going to get their latest food craving together, they always are laughing together. Katie is so happy to have Alex join her at her side at the altar.
