It's a tale as old as time. When the two of us matched on the dating app Hinge in June 2021, we shared an immediate connection over photos of our cats. Both of us claimed our cats were "perfect" before quickly scheduling a first date at a brewery in Radford. After sharing laughs over some beer, barbeque, and a silly rendition of Shaggy's "It Wasn't Me", a second date was sure to be on the books.

Little did both of us know that over 3 years later, after many shared memories, laughs, and tears, we would be co-parenting those two "perfect" cats in our cozy house in Roanoke together. Marriage was on both of our minds and in December of 2023, we made it official, getting engaged during a Christmas-themed picnic serenaded by Nat King Cole.

Some might say we're the yin to each other's yang, and as we've grown both personally and in our relationship, our bond as a family unit has only strengthened. We're so excited to celebrate our love along with our loved ones; one of our biggest goals as a couple has always been to be amazing wedding guests, to dance our butts off, and on 4/5/2025, we get to host our own wedding.
