As many of you know my dad, Mike, recently passed away after a long journey with dementia. At the end of his journey he resided at Abe's Garden in their Memory Care.

Abe's is absolutely wonderful facility in Nashville just 5 minutes away from my mom's house. They are leaders in caring for those with cognitive impairment, from the programs they offer daily to the overall design of their building. They were so kind and patient with my Dad and to our family. Alongside Alive Hospice, they made Dad's last days with us so peaceful, and that is something I will always cherish.

Jordan and I are honored that you all are choosing to be a part of this incredibly special time in our lives. We would love if, instead of gifts from our registry, you would consider donating to the Access to Care scholarship at Abe's Garden. This scholarship has provided so many residents, including my dad, the ability to live at Abe's. I don't think I will ever be able to fully express my gratitude, but being able to help other families experiencing the sorrow of watching a loved one slip away to dementia is a place to start.
