Welcome

Katie and Blaine first met online, with Katie noticing Blaine’s profile and patiently waiting for him to message her. After he messaged her, they talked for a few days telling jokes and discussing the weather before Blaine teased Katie for never having tried Thai food and proposed a first date. Their first date went the way most dates go; discussing favorite foods, telling absurd stories and offensive jokes, and talking about what they’d each wanted out of life. This went on for so long that they actually stayed 30 minutes passed closing for the restaurant and Blaine leaving his credit card there on accident. They couldn’t get enough of each other having a date each week after the first, until they eventually made it official, beginning a relationship that is nearly six years in the making. Shortly after starting to date, Blaine had to move to La Jolla for school, an hour away from Katie. This distance made their relationship stronger, enduring traffic on the 5 and 15 will test the strength of every and any relationship; but was a drive worth making. Eventually a year had gone by and the relationship just seemed to flow, with the couple nourishing each other and growing together as people in their early 20’s do. After finishing school and moving back to the Temecula area for work, Blaine started noticing not-so-subtle hints that Katie wanted to get married, hints like “my dream proposal would be on the little mermaid ride at Disneyland” coupled with “let’s plan a vacation to Disneyworld”. Eventually Blaine and Katie planned a vacation to Cuba and Disneyworld, where Blaine proposed using a ring-pop on the little mermaid ride (the ring wasn’t ready before the trip). Shortly after the proposal the couple found the perfect wedding venue with the perfect date of July 2nd, 2020. Katie and Blaine asked their best friends and family to be involved in the wedding, and Blaine moved to Louisiana for graduate school. The couple had been trained in long distance relationships at this point and spending a year apart would be easy to endure. Then COVID struck and the couple had to find a new perfect date, the couple optimistically chose March 4th as their new wedding date, surely the virus would be a blip, but they were wrong. The couple has since for everyone’s safety selected an even more perfect date of July 1st, 2021 and will happily celebrate their wedding with their friends and family safely on that day.

The Wedding Safety Plan 

As you can tell we are very concerned with the safety of our friends and family hence why we moved the wedding two&nbsp;times. Our safety plan is to hope the vaccine will be able be widely and safely distributed by&nbsp;our new July date. Obliviously&nbsp;we are just going with flow, so as we get closer to the actual date we will make changes to see what&nbsp;we are dealing with at the time.
