The ceremony will take place at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, which is indoors. The cocktail hour and reception will both take place at The Filament, which is an indoor venue with outdoor area. The cocktail hour and reception will take place indoors. Milwaukee is typically warm in August, but with the city located on Lake Michigan, there should be a nice breeze.

Get ready for a fun day! The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m., then cocktail hour will start at 5:00 p.m. There is nothing scheduled between the ceremony and cocktail hour, so you will be free to explore the city!

Transportation will not be provided on the wedding day. For those who are driving to Milwaukee for the day, we have set up a complimentary parking lot across the street from the reception venue (Filament). Cars CANNOT be left overnight in the lot. The ceremony is approximately a 25-minute walk or 5-minute drive (1.2 miles) from the reception venue.

Milwaukee has plenty of hotels and airbnbs to chose from! We recommend staying in the following neighborhoods: Downtown, Third Ward, or Walkers Point. However, Milwaukee is very easy to get around so staying anywhere in the city will be convenient!
