Our Story

One of our first photos together! We had each other added on Snapchat since 2016 but started talking beginning of 2017, went on our first date in April (shared chicken tenders at Applebee's) and hung out all summer.

Our first trip out of state together to Florida for Matt's cousin's wedding. We got to spend a lot of time together due to the pandemic. Katie graduated nursing school and moved back to Fargo late July to work.

We're engaged!!! After 6 years together Matt proposed while we were on a mini vacation near Moose Lake MN where we stayed in a tiny home for a weekend. It was perfect!

We have had thousands of amazing memories together. We’ve also gone through tough times including 3 years of long distance, the passing of Matt’s mom Lisa, and a pandemic. We are so grateful to have each other through everything in life and can’t wait to celebrate with our loved ones at our wedding!
