Social media can have a funny way of bringing people together. Zack and I met through Facebook. We hit it off talking about house projects and home renovations. He was living in Columbia at the time , only about 5 minutes from me, and stationed at Fort Jackson. After talking for some time, we decided to meet for dinner and had our first date at Hickory Tavern in the Vista. To this day, I am still surprised he decided to show up considering I was running a couple hours behind from being on the lake all day (it was Labor Day weekend). However, I am so glad he did! The real test would be meeting Louie, my spoiled and particular Saint Berdoodle. I forewarned him about Louie and how he doesn’t usually like many people at first, but it didn’t take long and Louie loved him some Zack!
