We have spent numerous days laying out on the lawn under the oak tree with a bottle of wine + quesadillas and nachos from the food trucks that make their rounds. This is our version of heaven.

Another spot we recommend are the grounds of UVA. Thomas Jefferson founded the university in 1819 and the architecture and gardens are gorgeous!

If you’ve never been, we encourage you to visit Thomas Jefferson’s home and plantation. There are a variety of tour options if you’d like to spend the day or just a few hours!
