Where should we stay?
We have recently arrived back from Dubrovnik and we spent some time working out the best places to stay, and in all honesty the answer is - anywhere! Dubrovnik is a pretty small place - with a population of around 40,000 people. It is a really popular tourist spot now though, so we advise booking your accommodation as early as possible. It costs about €5 to get from Lapad (the area where the evening venue is) to Old Town (where the Ceremony will be). Both Lapad and Old Town have lots of local restaurants, beach clubs and bars. There are also lots of surrounding areas with Hotels, Air BnB's and apartments, if you need any help let us know!
How Do We Get Around Dubrovnik?
To get around is really easy - something we were pleasantly surprised by! Uber is the cheapest and best way to get taxi's. A lot of places are walkable but Dubrovnik has lots of hills and steps - so Uber is our preference. There are also buses that will take you to all of the places you need to go, and Uber Boats if want to visit any of the 1400 islands. There are boat tours from the main port that will also take you to Lokrum island for the day - ironically this island has lots of Peacock's roaming around.
How do we get to the Ceremony
On the day of the wedding, we ask that you make your own way there. We will be starting the day in Old Town. Once the day begins we have lots of plans, the transfers during the day have all been arranged.
