Our Wedding

If you know us, and if you're on this site odds are that you do, you might agree that we are a little old fashioned in some ways. So it kinda makes sense that we didn't meet online, but at a friend's wedding in 2018. After waiting in a considerable line at the reception, Scott was able to get a dance with Katie. In a historic dive bar called the Little Bear Saloon in Evergreen, Colorado time stood still for a few magic moments. The rest, as they say, is history. But if you got this far, you probably want to know a little more of the history. It turned out that they worked for the same company, but that was far from the only thing they shared in common. From a first date at a brewery on an outdoor patio with dogs, to bluegrass festivals and roadtrips to National Parks, skiing too fast at Copper Mountain and driving slow in the Rawah wilderness in the fall it has been an amazing journey. We would love to tell you more at the culmination of our first chapter, when we tie the knot in an old fashioned country wedding at Galloping Dreams Ranch. Getting here: Denver International Airport is the best if you are flying in. Galloping Dreams Ranch is about 40 minutes from the airport so a car rental would be best but there are some Lyft options just might be pricey. The hotels listed here are about 15 minutes from Galloping Dreams Ranch.
