Michael and I met on the dating app hinge, he caught my eye, I liked his photo and he messaged me back and the rest is history! We had our first date planned at a sushi restaurant in Mattoon, IL. I showed up and the place was closed and I thought I had been set up. Very quickly after I showed up Michael did as well, I wasn’t set up and he stole my heart from the first second we met. We went with plan B and went to a different restaurant and had the best date ever.
Fast forward to October 17, 2021 Michael planned a date for us to go to our favorite Italian Restaurant. He had been gone most of the week for work and I had been away at a friend's baby shower. So us going on a date was not out of the ordinary after being apart. Michael parked 3 blocks from the restaurant and I kept telling him we could move the car closer because there was NO ONE around, he was persistent that we could walk. So we started walking towards the restaurant and he mentioned that this is the exact spot we first met and at that time I started to look around and while doing that Michael dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said YES!!!

We are so excited to get married and spend our lives together. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you very soon.
