2016: Like a lot of other millennial couples, Katie and Ryan met online via an app called "Tinder." Katie came across Ryan's profile first, and noticed they both went to Roger Williams, and figured a good opener would be "Great Day to be a Hawk" (not realizing that this was an inside joke for just her class). Like a gentleman, Ryan rolled with it, and asked her on a first date at Margaritas in Natick. During this first date they realized they knew a lot of the same people, as they not only shared with RWU connection, but also both went to High School in Framingham. Here they fell in love over $5 margaritas, and lots of laughs. 2020: Fast forward to the pandemic - Katie was living in Dorchester in a tiny apartment with 3 girls when the world shut down. She decided quarantining with Ryan in Milford far surpassed any excitement that the city brought, and decided to move in with him and Rocco full time in the burbs. They tried new recipes, did lots of puzzles, made yummy cocktails, and enjoyed lots of quality time as a family of 3. To this day, they attribute this as some of their favorite days together. :) 2023: Katie &amp; Ryan went to the Cape for their annual Labor Day family getaway. Ryan knew Katie's favorite part of this trip was walking the bay with a drink before dinner (and had gushed over a few beautiful proposals here in years prior). Little did she know, it was her turn. :) Ryan was acting odd as they were walking down the beach stairs, very persistent that they had to be on the beach by 5. Once on the beach, with Rocco by their side, Ryan dropped to one knee, and gave Katie the fairytale proposal she'd always dreamed of. After lots of tears and hugs, they continued their walk down the beach to all their friends and family waiting for them with the most beautiful celebratory picnic. The sun set, and they celebrated into the night, feeling so very loved. 2024: They are loving their engaged life, and can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with you all! The best is yet to come. :)
