Of all the things that you can find online, love was the last thing that Dustin and Katie expected. On a crisp day in late March 2023, Dustin and Katie matched on Mutual. After discovering they had similar interests and some tantalizing banter it was clear to them both that they should meet.

On April 1st (and Dustin assured Katie it was not an April Fool’s joke) they met for their first date. Dustin arranged for them to meet at an Art Gallery. As they admired the art around them, it was clear that between their shared wit and kind dispositions, there was something special forming between them.

After a month, unable to deny their strong connection, they made it official and began their courtship. From then on through many shared adventures and family escapades, their relationship has grown and friendship has deepened. Dustin admires Katie for her tenacity, bright smile and angelic appearance. On a warm Autumn day in October, Dustin took Katie back to spot where it all began, the art gallery. Dustin got down on one knee and asked Katie to marry him. Of course she said “yes”! Thus cementing this day as a birthday Katie will never forget!
