It all began with a swipe right…

Katie and Ryan met on Bumble in September 2018. After a few fun conversations, they decided to meet in person. It turned out that they only lived a half a mile from each other—how’s that for a small world? Their first date was low-key and casual at Katie’s house—complete with laughter, great conversation, and an instant connection. From that night on, something just clicked.

In the years that followed, they’ve built a life full of adventures, memories and unconditional love —not just with each other, but with their two pups, Macy and Gunner, who have brought endless joy into their world.

On August 3, 2023, in a place that holds so many of their favorite memories—Torch Lake, Michigan—Ryan got down on one knee and asked Katie to be his forever. It was the easiest "yes" of her life.
