Situated on 700 private acres with access to 40 miles of designated trails, Mountain Top Resort is also surrounded by thousands of acres of National Forest, and also overlooks a pristine lake. 🛶 Located on site, discover the private beach located on a quiet cove on a 740-acre lake. Enjoy complimentary use of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and lounge chairs. Escape to the Chittenden Reservoir and join a Tiki Boat Ride! Available to host groups up to 16, this scenic, two-hour cruise takes you across over 700 acres of stunning Vermont waters and includes one of the best views in Vermont, a chance to spot wildlife, and unforgettable memories.

Situated at the bottom of the stairs in the main lodge, you will find the Mountain Top Tavern. Enjoy lunch and dinner, or just a drink at the bar in this relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Their bar has 12 Vermont Craft Brews on tap and an extensive selection of cocktails.

The Dining Room, located directly adjacent to the Tavern, serves breakfast and dinner. Furnished with modern Mountain Lodge décor, you will enjoy floor-to-ceiling views of the mountains and lakes while you dine.

💭 When and where is the wedding? Our wedding will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025, at The Mountain Top Resort in Chittenden, Vermont. The ceremony will begin at 4pm, with the reception to follow at the same location. 💭 What time should I arrive? We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before the ceremony starts to allow time for parking and getting settled. 💭 What is the dress code? Our dress code is cocktail attire! We’re aiming for that sweet spot between polished and comfortable—think suits or blazers for men, and cocktail dresses for women. 💭 Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors? The ceremony will be outdoors on "The Knoll" with a view of the mountains (weather permitting)! The reception will be indoors in the barn at Mountain Top Resort. Please check the weather forecast and bring a light jacket if needed! 💭 Can I bring a plus-one? Your invitation will specify if a plus-one is included.
