We enjoy visiting Mike's Farm during the Fall and Winter. They have a hayride that leads to their pumpkin patch in the Fall, a "family-style with a touch of country" restaurant, gift shop, bakery, and farm animals.

Topsail Beach is one of our (mostly Katie's) favorite places to go to and hang out. While it may be a little chilly in October for a swim, the views are still amazing. The beaches in North Carolina are better than California beaches, hands down!
