Our story began on night one of our college careers at UNC Charlotte. After both moving into Moore Hall, Katie's RA hosted an ice cream social for the entire high rise, where the couple first met. A group of girls from Katie's floor began chatting with the baseball boys, and we connected over a shared interest in alternative music and video games. We continued to get to know one another and starting dating in the fall of Freshman year.

We said"I love you" after surviving a long distance summer before Sophomore year. The rest of our time at UNC Charlotte was filled with college baseball games, sorority functions and the adoption of our first dog, Jake.

After graduation, we moved in together and learned the true meaning of a partnership. Fast forward another six years; we are best friends, true life partners, and parents of two fur kids.
