Amongst a time of swiping left and right, there was a man who felt confident enough to ask a young woman for her number IRL (In Real Life)!



About three days later, following “modern day protocol” for dating; not to text too early and scare her off, Kyle asked Katie for a date. After a bit of small talk, the decision was made to have their first date on Memorial Day 2016 at FIGS in Beacon Hill.




Jump to the moment of their first date. Katie arrived in uber, to find Kyle waiting outside like a complete gentleman. They went on to have the most magical evening, one which Katie would describe “as a girl’s dream”. It was a time you could feel the moments, seconds, and minutes pass by. A time you want to freeze in place. Let’s just say, they are happy they made the decision to meet one another that night and have only grown from there.





Growing from that day, they have experienced life, living in different apartments in different towns, to moving into their own apartment in South Boston. They have supported one another through career changes, achievements, hardships, and of course a pandemic. I think we can say after 8 years there have been some highs and lows, but it is a true testament to their love, support, and respect for one another.
