Aaron and Katie met at a party during the Summer of 2014. On October 1st, Aaron officially asked Katie to be his girlfriend. They got their first apartment together in Iowa City. After graduation, they moved to Des Moines and now live in their first house in Pleasant Hill, with their two cats, Annie and Nami.

Aaron and Katie cherish the many memories created over the years, watching scary movies, playing games, going on vacations, cuddling the cats, making each other laugh, and spending quality time with each other, friends, and family. They are excited to make many more memories as husband and wife.

After celebrating seven years of love and friendship, Aaron got down on one knee and asked Katie to marry him, and she, of course, said YES!
