The first picture Ben and Katie took together! This was about 2 weeks after their first date (if you don't know how they met, ask them! It's quite a story). Katie's bridesmaid, Alex, took this on her Polaroid camera. Katie got COVID this night, and was down for the count for a few months after this. Katie told Ben that she wasn't in the right spot to start a new relationship due to being so ill. Ben assured Katie he was going to be there for her no matter what, and had no problem supporting her through her health struggles.

Katie graduated from GVSU. Ben had just been accepted to law school at MSU!

To end the summer, Ben and Katie went to Mackinac Island together. Ben was about to start his first year of law school, and Katie was about to begin her first year of teaching!

Fast forward through a long school year, Ben and Katie traveled to Colorado to visit Ben's family. While hiking, Ben proposed to Katie!
