Aaron and I met at Skagit Skate, our daughters were both on the speed skate team. I had seen him at the practices but mostly kept to myself. As time went on we started saying hi and making small talk here and there. He finally approached my car one night asking for my number. We text back and forth for a bit until he asked me out on a lunch date. We hit it off so much during that lunch date, a coworker text me asking if I was coming back to work or not! We then had our first official date a few nights later and have been inseparable ever since :) It didn't take me long before I knew this was the man I was going to marry.

From the first time I saw her, I knew I had to have her. Katie blew me away the very first time she walked into the skate rink. However, I thought she was a bit out of my league, so I didn't approach her right away. As time passed, we started to talk to each other and I realized just how funny, thoughtful, and insightful she is. Her wit and humor drew me in even deeper. Finally, one day we were having a conversation and we parted ways. She decided to give me a high-five out of nowhere! Totally awkward! It was in that moment I knew there was something there that I had to go for. Not long after that I asked her out to lunch! We've been inseparable ever since!
