Where Will The Ceremony & Reception be?
Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors in the gardens, followed by a cozy indoor reception at Christianson’s Nursery in Mount Vernon, Washington.
Where Should I Stay?
We’ve reserved room blocks at The La Conner Channel Lodge and The La Conner Country Inn. Booking details are available in the Travel section of our website.
The room block is available through June 11, 2026, and we recommend booking early to ensure availability. Both hotels are about 8 minutes from the venue.
If you prefer other options, there are additional hotels in La Conner, nearby Airbnbs, and more lodging a bit farther out.
Am I Allowed To Bring a Plus One?
Due to space and venue limitations, we’re unable to include additional guests or children not listed on your invitation. If you have a plus one, their name will appear on our website when you RSVP.
What is the Dress Code?
Our wedding will follow a cocktail attire dress code. Think suits, dress shirts, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates.
We recommend light layers for comfort, as the weather can be unpredictable. Since parts of the event will be held on grass, we also suggest wearing shoes that are comfortable and stable on uneven ground.
Will There be a Shuttle?
Yes! We will provide a shuttle to and from the wedding for guests staying in La Conner at any property. More details, including the shuttle schedule, will be shared closer to the wedding date. Please check back for updates!
There will also be plenty of on-site parking available for guests who prefer to drive.
Should I Rent a Car?
It depends on your plans! If you want to explore local spots or are staying outside La Conner, having a car is helpful. For a short visit just to La Conner, a car isn’t necessary—you can take Amtrak or the bus from Seattle to Mount Vernon, then use a taxi or rideshare. Keep in mind rideshares are limited here, so book in advance and expect higher prices. Direct airport transfers are also an option.
What kind of weather should we expect?
In September, Mount Vernon typically enjoys mild, pleasant weather. Daytime temperatures usually range from 65°F to 75°F, with cooler evenings dipping into the low 50s.
When Should I RSVP?
We kindly ask that you RSVP by August 1, 2026.
If you plan to stay in La Conner, we recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible, as this charming town is popular with visitors and tends to fill up quickly.
