Our love story began in the most modern of ways—on Hinge. It’s funny to think that a simple swipe could lead to something so extraordinary, but here we are, about to say I do and share the rest of our lives together.


It all started with a profile and a message. Katie just got back in the dating scene and Matt was trying to find someone who was not just a match, but the match. When they came across each other’s profiles, there was an instant connection. The conversations flowed effortlessly—from talking about what cowboy boots Katie should purchase for a country concert to Matt drunk dialing Katie during a work happy hour. They quickly realized that they didnt want to waste any time to meet so Matt set up a first date (well... second as Katie chickened out of the first).


The first date was at That’s Amore—nothing fancy, just two people meeting in person after a week or so of texting and getting to know one another. But once they sat down, they couldn’t stop talking. They shared stories about their lives, dreams, and everything in between, and by the end of the date, they both knew this was just the beginning of something much bigger.


As the days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, they found themselves falling more and more in love. The two spent weekends exploring the city, trying new restaurants, and going on spontaneous adventures. They supported each other through the highs and lows of life, and with each passing day, there bond grew stronger. It wasnt always easy but somehow they always came back to each other. It didn’t take long for them to realize that they were meant to be together—two people who found each other at just the right time.


The proposal came a few days after the purchase of their new home. It was a Saturday in December where they spent the morning unpacking and that afternoon joining their new golf club. On the way home, he surprised her with family photos in front of their new home. Little did she know, right before the session ended, he would be getting on one knee and asking to spend the rest of his life with her.


Now, as we prepare to celebrate our wedding day, we are filled with so much excitement and gratitude. We’ve come so far, and we couldn’t be happier to be starting this next chapter of our lives together. From a swipe on an app to a lifetime of love, we are beyond thrilled to have you join us in celebrating this incredible journey.
