I had just finished teaching the 5:00 kickboxing class and decided to stay and take the 6:00 class. There, I saw Juan and asked another instructor who that was because he looked familiar. She proceeds to explain who he was. Then, one Friday, another instructor invited Juan to Singo at 731 with us. This night is where things really took off and we became best friends. Everyone knew he had feelings for me and kept urging for me to go for it. I refused for a variety of reasons. One weekend, I had a get together at my house with our friends. We started playing truth or dare (lame I know). Somehow we ended up kissing and my life was forever changed. Over the next few months we would kiss here or there, but I kept saying I did not want to be with him. Finally, 2 days after Christmas in 2021, I decided to just go for it. I called him up and asked him to come spend the day with me and the rest is history.
