From day camp counselors to her main wing woman, Ashley has been through it all with Katie. Ashley has been her best friend, support system, partner in crime and is there whenever Katie needs advice. Ashley is the complete and utter opposite of Katie-but together they are each others yin and yang. Ashley once saved Katie when she ran into Cicero Ave and hid in the brushes from a stranger. Now that’s what you call a ride or die.

Katie and Kerry met at work and both staff and students have said numerous times that they look like cousins. Katie loves the "Thirsty Thursdays" with Kerry where they can laugh, drink and always end the night with "just one more" Both ladies love a good Miller draft, random 95th street bar crawls and complaining about work. Mike especially loves being the third wheel on Kerry and Katie's drinking festivities... calling them "Kerry Thursdays"

Mike met Brandon in the bowls of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab as first year apprentices. Katie loves to listen to both Brandon and Mike talk to each other on the phone complaining about work. Katie, Mike and Owen all enjoy listening to a good rap made by Brandon while watching his Batman videos.

Mike and Eric are brothers 'Nough said.

Mike and Kevin first became friends back in 1998. They played in a lot of terrible garage bands and have been through all types of shenanigans. Katie enjoys when Kevin comes over so they can catch up on wrestling.

Mike and Mike (Mr. B) have been friends since 2005. Many nights were spent at the Demolition derby's all the while picking up Mike's sunglasses throughout life. They both love a proper pour of Guinness, which is always hard to come by.

Mike and Paul both grew up in the same neighborhood in Chicago and have been friends since 1994. Fun fact: Paul was with Mike the first time he met Katie.

Owen is Katie's son. Her forever best friend, her bubba. Mike and Katie love their movie nights, dart games and weekly dinner dates with Owen. He is a role model, a sports fanatic and the best teenager one could ask for.

Richie and Ben are Mike's kids. Richie is 7 and Ben is 4. These boys enjoy hanging with their Dad, Katie and especially Owen. They help cook, make countless pictures to hang on the fridge and will never go a day without their "bissert" (dessert) The boys also love the new addition to the home- Vinny and Violet (the family kittens)

Stanley, Vinny and Violet are Mike and Katie's four legged children. These three kitties enjoy breaking TV's, dumping over water cups, eating all the treats and cuddling with, mostly, each other. Katie often mentions "3 kids, 3 cats! it makes all the sense" These kittens are excited in making special appearances the day of the wedding.
