We met the good old fashion way...online. Ryan miraculously gave me three chances for a first date. And even when we did meet, I was still 20 minutes late. After meeting him for the first time, I didn't want our date to end and had crossed all my fingers and toes that he would agree for a second. His kind soul won me over the night I got called into work at 3am. I knew that once this case was done, I would start my regular shift at 7am, leaving no time to go home and get coffee or a nap. Without missing a beat, Ryan got out of bed and made me coffee before I ran in for that case. It was then I knew he was my "end goal". He also takes me to Ray's Italian Ice whenever I crave a sweet treat which is an added bonus.

The year was 2022, the day was March 8th and for some reason I gave Katie a third chance to go/ make it on a date. A beer on draft and a basket of chips later, she proceeded to show up... 20 minutes late. She clearly knew what she was doing...making me wait longer for the best thing in my life to walk through that restaurant door...the perfect woman. Three years later after all the laughter, the banter and the memories made she said yes to forever...forever dealing with my mess. She also makes me take her to Ray's Italian Ice whenever she's craving a sweet treat...which means I get to have a sweet treat.
