It all started back in Berkeley, CA

Our relationship took off shortly after becoming climbing partners. Most early dates started at Berkeley Ironworks, our local gym.

On weekends, we volunteered with Youth Spirit Artworks building tiny homes for homeless youth.

We also found lots of rocks and shells at our favorite getaway, Secret Beach!

When COVID slowed the world down, Katie rediscovered her love of biking (and cows) with Patrick.

Patrick stayed busy planting and harvesting lavender from Katie's garden.

We moved to San Francisco together in 2021,

Where we kept our volunteer streak alive by building trails in Santa Cruz.

We climbed lots of things,

We shared lots of sunshine,

We went far and wide,

And on our four year anniversary, Katie said yes!
