We officially met on March 21, 2024 at an event that felt ordinary at first-but ended up changing everything. What I didn't know then was that Shakoor had already noticed me. For a while, he had been watching quietly from a distance, drawn in by something deeper than words. It wasn't hesitation that kept him away-it was intention. He's a private soul, one who values connection beyond the surface. It was his best friend, Tamara, who eventually told me he was interested. That simple truth opened a door-but neither of us rushed through it. He wasn't looking for a relationship at the time and I wasn't just looking for someone to fill space-I was ready to date with intention. With that being said, instead of stepping into romance, we chose something rare, we chose "friendship". We talked, we laughed. We shared stories that rarely see the light. Shakoor wanted to know the parts of me I didn't share with just anyone- and I found peace in giving him that access. With time, trust grew. With patience, something sacred blossomed. We built a bond rooted not only in instant chemistry, but in quiet loyalty. And somewhere along the way, without pressure or pretense, love found us. Our story is one of timing, tenderness, and deep connection. Its a reminder that the best kind of love often starts with being seen-TRULY SEEN-before being loved.
