Summer evenings on the North Shore of Long Island are typically warm and comfortable, with soft coastal breezes and temperatures ranging from the low 70s to upper 60s°F. While the days can be sunny and bright, the evenings tend to cool gently as the sun sets over the Sound. We recommend bringing a light layer in case you’d like a little extra warmth after dark.
