What a difference a year can make. I was doing my own thing in September of 2021 when Davy, my brother-in-law, started mentioning this cute girl at his work. This continued for about a month, and I brushed it off because I thought nothing would really come of it. Ironically, Davy’s dad was working closely with Katlin at their job, and he started to get in my ear about her as well. Finally, I knew it was time for me to stop procrastinating and reach out to her. I couldn’t imagine if I wouldn’t have started that first conversation with Katlin! From the first date I had a different feeling about her. This quickly turned into me falling for her! Katlin has become my best friend, encourager, travel partner, fashion designer, and most importantly soon to be wife! We have experienced so many things in our time together. From Michigan trips, family vacations, spontaneous dates, sporting events, new jobs, times with friends and so many other fun adventures. I love the memories we have already made together. I can’t wait to learn and grow together in this next chapter of our life. I’m so lucky to get to marry the love of my life!

I first learned about Hilton through my coworker Dave, and his high recommendation of him and how he thought we would be great together. I was a little weary of being set up, however I very much trusted Dave’s opinion and made me eager to want to meet Hilton. After our first date it was obvious there was something different about him. Since then, the rest is history! Hilton has been my biggest supporter, personal comedian, adventurer, sports teacher, and overall, my best friend. We’ve walked through several seasons of change and I can’t imagine him not being by my side. I’m so thankful I get to marry my favorite person and see what the rest of life has to bring!
